restoraton 53 1500

I am new to forum so if I'm duplicating I'm sorry. What I'm looking for is a pre A restoration shop to take on my 53 1500 Super which has turned into a bucket list project. Preferably some place close to Wis. although I have started the conversation with GK it would be great if I can find one somewhat local to WI. Ideas?

Huge mistake. To look for someone local. Instead find someone reputable and save yourself a lot of heartache. You’re going to want it done right. Ask me how I know

You can't go wrong with Stalltek, and they're not far from you in Iowa City.
Neil and Lee Schlabaugh run it. See Registry Magazine Vol 36 #6 p30. They restored this lovely '51 coupe recently. See the "Magazine" link above for old Registry Magazine issues in PDF form.

50960 from July 1953. 1500 Super. I'm also in the process of restoring it.

I'm not really into the old cars (like my bud Liberty) but that '51 is truely beeautiful. I'd go with those guys!
