Can anyone please clarify which drivers handbook, would have originally been supplied with the pre A speedster.
I assume the cream coloured cover version, available as a reproduction from the goodie store, was originally supplied from 56 for the A speedsters.
So would the standard red cover Pre A handbook which came with the coupe's, have also been supplied with the speedster's.

Yes, the red cover booklet June 1954 edition with sticker inside front cover about the oil capacity and fan belt dimensions for the (new) 1500 3-pc. case engine.

if your pre a speedster was really early and came with the 2 piece motor. Then the earlier manual with out the sticker would be the correct one.
also depending on where the car was delivers would dictate the language and the color of the writing on the cover
USA is gold letters on the cover written in English
Germany no color written in German
France has silver letters written in french
