The travel to the factory was 1961. I wasn't alive in 1952, having been born in 1956.

As an aside, I think the ONLY person I ever heard my father speak poorly of was Max Hoffmann. He would have preferred to die than order a car through Hoffmann (and, yes, I know he changed his name to Hoffman).. Speaking with certain insiders, I find that my father's opinion was not unfounded. But that is history. The victors get to write it.
