Window Frame Bolts

Hello, having already made the mistake of putting in the glass before the frame, luckily only on one side, am I correct in thinking the bottom brackets are fixed with M6 thread 10MM head bolts with both spring and flat washers and the threaded holes on the side legs are fixed with M5 thread with 8MM head bollts no washers?
As an aside does it get any less stressful drilling holes in the lovely finished body the more one does?
