Shine Down 54'
hi everyone i would like to know if the measurements shown in the photos of this shine down 53 'are adaptable for a 54' cabriolet. I already have white glass to replace the red k1431 thanks to the collaboration. Aurelio

Re: Shine Down 54'
Ciao Aurelio, it looks like that's a Hella rear license plate light that is made for a vehicle that is not a Porsche. It looks like the curvature is not the same to fit the Porsche rear.
See photo below for the Porsche Hella unit. The Hella part number is BK 9/3 for the 1950-52. And part number KZR 9/3 for the 1953-55 unit which has clear reverse light instead of red brake light. You can see the curvature of the housing for the Porsche rear bodywork, and it is different from the one in your photos.
Hella also made similar units for other vehicles, model numbers BK 9/1 and BK 9/2. The BK 9/1 was for the Ford Taunus "Kastenwagen" in 1951, which is probably what yours is, as it looks like yours is for a vehicle were the rear is more vertical and less sloping.
Porsche shared the Hella shine down with the Goliath GP 700 sport coupe.
