Hi, I'm looking for NOS door lock cylinders or key blanks for a 1955 pre A that is currently under restoration. Were these Porsche only, or VW sourced?

I will post some pictures of the car later today.

Thanks for the welcome! The problem is we have the barrels for the doorlocks but no keys. We do have the ignition key though. If we'd have a keyblank we should be able to adjust it so we can use it in the existing barrels.

The car is chassis number 53694, gearbox number 6166H1, engine number 546/2: p*35076*

Tony Euganeo is the only person who has original style keys for the pre A. There are a number of key blanks that are correct key blanks but not from the original supplier. One could probably cast an original style key but this is not trivial.....Original key were made by NPN and were stamped steel. One could even cast the locks and cylinders but that is even more challenging... the number that is needed to Key the door locks is stamped on the back of the cylinder as shown.... you might also look at viewtopic.php?f=1&t=36688&start=15 or viewtopic.php?f=13&t=41001 Good luck let me know if I can help.

I'll contact Mr. Euganeo, thanks for the info. Casting them ourselves would make for one awesome project though
