Parts finishing for '55 Speedster

I know this is posted somewhere, but is there a definitive posting on correct finishes for all of the parts (suspension items, brake parts, and so on: ie -zinc plated, painted, etc) for my '55 Speedster project?

Hi Jerry, great idea for a thread. I don't know anyone who has done this for a '55 Speedster specifically, but I'm sure the expertise exists in the group. Perhaps you'd like to get it started? Feel free to list items you don't know the finish on, and we'll chip in answers, and you can update the original list as we go along.
