Bob Campbell's 356 Services is closing.

#1 Post by Bob Campbell »

Over 50 years in the 356 Hobby & Industry, and I never threw ANYTHING away! Rarities, NOS, OEM, old, used and even some junky stuff. Turns out I have been saving it all just for my Registry friends. It is now time for me to transfer this ownership to the guys, and gals, that can use and enjoy them.

I am now accepting, from Registry members, "Wish Lists" of items that you have been looking for, or a friend might need. I will only accept emailed lists to Bob@356Services.com. I will respond to each list personally. Thank you, Bob

Wow Bob! That is big news! I thought the only recent earthquake was up in Alaska, but this is a real shaker too! I hope all is well with you- and you enjoy the next chapter in whatever activities you choose.

Bob, that is great news for you, bad for the hobby. I run my shop as a retirement hide away with no customers. Just restore cars that I like, mostly Pre - A.

……………...What ever you do, be sure to have FUN !!! ……………..Jim.

Bob, I'm assuming you'll still be here and there in the hobby, so AFAIC, good on you. Relax and enjoy...
Trying to think of some weird 356 'thing' I want, and can't come up with it. I've got a pile that's gonna have to move sometime also; no reason to add to it.
Good luck, all the best and Happy Holidays!

Knowing you for a long time, but haven't seen you for several years during the LA Lit & swap meet, my congrats to you and family to stay in touch w/all of us.

My only "wish list" is for a long and healthy next chapter for you and yours, Bob. You got me into being the caretaker of Ray's old Speedster well over 20 years ago, and it's been my pleasure to keep up with you and enjoy good conversation and fun dealings with you ever since. Hope to see you around, my friend.

Bob:

My sincere thanks for your contributions to the 356 community. You were my go-to guy for parts when I acquired my car in 1999.

All the best to you!
