2018 Lit Meet; thanks

#1 Post by Ron LaDow » Mon Mar 05, 2018 12:25 am

To all the folks who decided to give up a Saturday morning to look at stuff they'd seen 50 times before in the hopes of finding what they hadn't in the past.
To Bruce (and Co.) for the work arranging it (I'm sure it was no walk in the park)
To all the other folks offering parts, literature, and "things" (the guy opposite our table, to the right, was offering a hand made, detailed, removable rocker box, rocker gear in place, 1/20 (?) scale model of a 2-piece case engine on an engine stand for $1100 bucks! He's working for slave wages!), and thereby drawing that crowd.
But not enough of you guys asked, so I had to take some of the bags back home. Let's step it up next year, campers!

Silk, aka the fabulous Freda, was offering lovely blue (reinforced for books) West Bloomfield Public library bags with each purchase Blocks-Books. We immediately ran out of the new, disgusting expensive 911R book -- but have stock in Michigan.

Good to see you Ron, it's always great to see people in person that are so helpful throughout the year on the Registry site. Sorry that we brought the New England weather with us but at least it was nice on Sunday for the Show and Swap meet. KTF
