It looks little different from the earlier part, but it now saves those with mechanical tachs nearly $300.00; you no longer have to replace the mechanical tach-drive gear with the later electrical tach-drive part. By moving dimensions back and forth, we've found enough space to accommodate the earlier part: I hasten to add that it still requires an electrical tach; between the lump of the tach-drive, the filter and the muffler, there is simply no way to get all three in there. Something has to give and the tach head is the cheapest.
