At what point in production did Porsche add the mounts for head rests? Will these work on my 1960 seats?

I'm not sure on when ...but I'm sure they will work in your seats hopefully some one will share some info with us

They were available at least since the T2 version in '57 where they are listed in the accessory brochure. Interestingly enough, the early A brochure does not list them but in that catalog a picture for fitted luggage shows a headrest on the seat.

In other words, they were available for you '60.

See I told u someone would set us strait.

I know of 2 types one for the thick seats and one for the thin seats.

I have head rest on my 55 speedster they were on the car when I bought it in 1965, my car does not have speedster seats the seats are the coup style seats. not sure if this helps any but thought I would add just in case.

I'm waiting for Bob to get back so I can borrow his to make the bracket top part that u put ur head agaist..
I made to locate the other type to make them as well

My '58 Cab, production date: 12/'57 shows a headrest was included per the COA.
