This is absolutely the best wheel for a drum brake 356. Best looking, highest quality, Made in Italy, with the right wide and offset. this wheel was used in the 60-70 to race, later for vintage racing, this is the new production in same quality. a true one piece wheel, always perfectly straight and round. No more issues because your wheels are 50+ years old, bent and have flat spots. TUV approved. the come with lug nuts. they are 5 x 15", with the wide 5 x 205 lug pattern. US buyers please contact John Willhoit,he is the only seller for the US, Europeans me

Reinhold,

Any chance these are made in 5.5 or 6x16, the available tire sizes would be more to my liking.

Lets not forget the weight of the tire. No, tire weights are not in the noise.

5.6 kilos = 12.32 lbs
versus old original Techno magnesium wheel weighed 9.0 lbs.
I guess these new wheels are made of aluminum to be so heavy in spite of the brand name.

today in the European wheel business is not more possible to use Magnesium, by law. the wheel is made with aluminum mix.

still lighter as a stock 4.5 steel wheel and round, straight and very strong too

Are there any plans to make a disc brake version of this wheel?

We are selling the wheels in the US for $695 each.

I have used them with 165 tires, but the current tires that I prefer are the Pirelli CN36 185/70 or the Avon 175/70 CR6ZZ. Both of these tires fit the 5" rim perfectly and look and handle really well.

In my opinion, the 5.5" or 6.0" steel rims are way too heavy, and combined with a large tire they ruin the nimble feel that is so typical with a 356.

For a more aggressive look, and an additional improvement in handling, we've installed them with 12mm spacers and longer wheel studs on all four wheels. You can use the full circle spacers or the single stud spacers like the GT cars. I don't have the spacers and studs on my online store but you can email me for a quote.
