Complete 356 lock restorations...

#1 Post by Thomas Drummond III »

Putting the word out. Until several months ago we only restored locks for our own in house restorations. Recently I have started taking in outside clients for lock servicing. I just finished restoring several sets of K100 and K300 series for a restoration house client. Working on his Pre-A sets now.

They are completely disassembled (including lock cylinders, pins, seals and springs), professionally polished and repaired, concourse quality triple chromed and re-pinned to match the Kardex! New Porsche keys with proper stamped key codes. One set shown I matched to the clients original key.

I fabricate all the internals myself and therefore can offer a complete Kardex matching service. No more filed down pins, keys that don't stay in the ignition or mismatched sets.

I have a relatively fast turn around time. 4-5 weeks for a complete restoration assuming there are no severely damaged parts or issues to start with. We also repair ignitions and can do early 911-912 locks as well.

I have a few production slots open for those that are interested.

Please email or call..

Thanks!

Bob

Just recently, Bob figured out the FE code for my T-6 transmission lock from my non-original key. The FE code wasn't recorded on my Kardex, even though the ignition-switch code was. Evidently the job requires some delicate measurements and the right reference information.

First-class work, speedy friendly service, and a fair price. Top marks all the way around!
