Toad Hall Books & Posters at Lit Meet

#1 Post by Frank Barrett »

Friends:

We've been plying our dubious trade of flogging new and old Porsche books and old Porsche factory posters at the Lit Meet ever since it was held in Chicago in the early 1980s, and this year we plan to be back (we have to drive from Denver over Vail Pass and through eastern Utah in the snow) with what we think is our absolute best variety. Besides all the obvious new Porsche books, we'll be clearing out our inventory of older titles at much-reduced prices.

And, oh boy, the posters! This year we will have our best-ever assortment of genuine Porsche factory posters going back into the 1950s, all in excellent or mint condition. For months we've been having dozens of posters restored, and you will be flatly amazed at the beautiful and rare race and showroom posters covering 356s and early 911s.

When you walk in the door, look for us at the rear, along the left wall. We're easy to spot because of all the colorful posters on display. Meanwhile, if you are looking for any specific rare books or posters, give me a call at 303/237-0911 or email me at fdb912@gmail.com and get a head start on the LA crowd.

Frank

PS: We will not be at the Sunday swap at the Phoenix Club, so be sure to get to the LAX Hilton on Saturday. As the old drag-racing commercial advised: Be There!!
