Solex 40 P II-4 carburetor price increase

#1 Post by Jim Kaufmann »

Over the last year 356 Carburetor Rescue has experienced price increases by our suppliers on the new shafts, new bushings, steel pump links, and even the blanks for cutting the new butterflies. So our prices will have to go up a bit with the 40 P II carbs, but giving you even more new parts with the increase.

We recently had another important part of the pump system manufactured, a complex part in it's shape and bends to get right, the arm that fits the pump cover. In the shop we ran out of serviceable ones to use, so had a quantity made to maintain the quality of our carb restorations.

Will be holding our present pricing till March 1st 2014, visit the website for price increase details. Effective immediately, all our 40 P II's will include 2 new pump arms, new main and idle fuel jets. Take advantage of the old price and get the new parts through February.

We are now making quality 40 P II carb rebuild kits for the 356 community. They include the same parts we use in our restorations. Good needle valves, aluminum sealing washers and more. Also making kits for the Zenith 32 NDIX carbs and will have both available at the Lit Meet and Swap --- March 1st and 2nd.

See you there!!!
