Torque-Meister/CIP1 Clone Adapter

#1 Post by Albert Tiedemann »

The part pictured is a gear segment that has been proportioned to work with components of the CIP1 clone of the original Torque-Meister. Specifically, the gear segment provides adaptation to the 356 drum and disc brake cars and eases the loosening/tightening of the rear axle nuts. The effort is so modest that it can be accomplished with a 3/8” drive strong bar.

The gear segment has been previously developed by Afterwerke to work with the components mentioned.

At present the supply is exhausted. The purpose of this posting is to investigate the interest/demand of the product sufficient to initialize another run. Current escalation in material costs, inbound freight and machine shop charges will boost the product cost to $145 + the destination shipping. In the US 50 the shipping will be about $9.00 and to places like Australia, $17.00. Machine cut and heat treated steel teeth are embodied in the design.
