Porsche Shifter Levers, Pre-A, 356, and 356A, New~!

#1 Post by Adam Shahinian »

And then there was three..356Devotion's First 356 Production
Porsche Shifter Levers, Pre-A, 356 & 356A, New~!!

Here we have made our first production of the most sought after part the Porsche Pre-A 356 , 356, and the 356A shifter levers. This is done from the original shifter lever taken and CAD design with a CnC machine. These are a one piece steel shaft that goes through the CnC machine, then bent through correct degree jig. The shifter lever has been powder coated rust resistant paint, where it's ready to be painted any color of your choice. These all come with a new plastic half moon cup as shown.

I have already contacted Adam about the mis-identification regarding BT5 levers.
The products look good, they just need to be described properly.

With due respect, I ask Adam Shahinian identified with 356 Devotion to tell the members something about his company, such as

Where is it located?

How long have you been in business?

Besides today's announcement of shift levers, what other products do you manufacture?

Absolutely,
We are a Los Angeles based company for over four years, and in the process of establishing a brick 'n' mortar establishment. Right now to keep overhead low, we are selling everything via the internet. Going through this economy we are using this to our advantage to reproduce parts that are not available anymore. This is also the reason of our company name and motto '356Devotion' we are devoted to keep these cars on the road and away from junkyards. We have introduced ourselves via eBay and have joined 356registry few month ago and looking forward meeting each and every one throughout the years.
I've been working in German auto parts industry for over 15 years where I've established diverse channels of acquiring parts, finding distributors and manufacturers.
Our other parts we recently reproduced our the 914 fuse box, 12 pole ceramic fuse style, and the correct 'Symbol' fuse box cover also on our site.

Damn it Jim,

It's a conspiracy, don't you see?
New parts for old cars. What an idea.
How EASY can it be?

Reproduction Pre A Shift Lever

#8 Post by Jerry Garwick »

I just received a Pre A shift lever from 356devotion (http://www.356devotion.com/356D-356ShifterLever.html) and I am very impressed. I have compared it to originals and it appears to be a very good replica at an acceptable price. Thanks to Adam S. and his company for the service.
