PORSCHE Parts Art Pieces

#1 Post by Don Ramsay »

Hey Guys,
I am making some Porsche Art Pieces. :D
This is a 57 356A 644 Trans End Table. Beautiful Aluminum Case!
It has 3/8" thick Glass with polished edges.
It is internally lit with a 3 position dimmer and you just touch it to activate the light.
Making things out of some of the stuff I have been collecting for the last 30 something years and that seams nobody wants.
I plan to Make 911 ones too.
It would LooK Great in your Gearhead Cave! 8)
Any Interest?

A friend of my has made something similar. He has used a complete N.O.S. 741 transaxle with a 616/33-1 industrial engine. (with only 28 hours runtime.........)

Cool 356 SOLEX Lamp

#6 Post by Don Ramsay »

Take a look at this Very CooL Lamp!
It's made from old 356 Super Solex fuel system sitting on a Titanium Granite base.
It has touch dimming and glowing Lexan were the gaskets would be.
The gaskets stay lighted and the lamps in the stacks dim.
You just touch it or the Porsche crest to dim it.
This would look great in a Gearhead room.... ;-)
