Since the inception of this forum there has been a rule prohibiting posts with political content. The vast majority of you adhere to this rule, but from time to time someone has “colored outside the lines”. In today’s toxic political environment the reasons for this rule are stronger than ever. We are all bonded by our common love of these little cars regardless of gender, race, political affiliation, religion, etc. I believe that it is imperative that we do not allow any of the vitriol being served in politics to infect the collegial environment of our forum or the club in general. In the past those who broke this rule were given a polite warning and their posts were edited.
As of the moment of this posting a much harsher zero tolerance policy is in effect. Anyone who feels the need to make a post of a political nature, overt, veiled or subtle which is reported will have 6 months suspension of privileges to evaluate their personal compulsions. Any further infractions after regaining privileges will be addressed severely. I have the full backing of the board and there will be no mercy.
Let us strive to maintain the level of decorum on our board that is sadly lacking in many other places in this day and age.
*Polite discussions regarding dealing with the DMV are still allowed.
