Testing links to Samba.

Even when I'm signed out of The Samba, I can't post a link to a specific thread Greg, see below, the 356talk still inserts itself.

If you mean a specific thread in the Samba, I beleive it is because it is in a part of The Samba that requires their sign it to access. In my post above, it is simply the Samba home page and it goes right to it. But if the thread is in a part of the Samba that is only accessible after signing in to the Samba, it will not allow you to go directly to it. That's my thoughts.
I have no idea why the '356talk' gets inserted but I think it has something to do with the point I'm making here above.

I understand what you are saying but no part of The Samba requires you to sign in to see it. Below my text are two other car forums to test. In the preview (before I hit the submit button) there is no "356talk" inserted. It really isn't a huge deal, but strange that it only happens on The Samba website. There is some really early Porsche stuff on the site though that might be nice to reference in a conversation here, but I don't have the answer on how to remove the "356talk" that gets inserted...

Test post for another forum:

Yes, you're right - I tried it from another site and it went right to the post.
I've just messed around a little on Samba and assumed you had to sign in . . .
I've asked the webmaster to look into the issue.
