I have been cautioning posters when I see their member number on the tag line at the bottem of their posts. If your member number is your password (it is the default) your login is not secure. Either delete your member number from the tag line or better still, change your password.
To change your password:
Click 'Edit Profile' button located under your login on the Home Page
Click the 'Profile' tab and follow the instuctions to change your password

If you have your current login as a 'remember me' in your browser, you'll have to update that, too.

Here ia another test after receiving some help.

Thanks Joe and Greg.

Bummer, It did not work, again. How long does it take for the new settings to become "active"

Here is another test after some time for "active" to activate.

No luck again. Joe, I am following the directions step by step. However, when I do so, the changed signature/tag line [what is the difference?] still appears and does not go away when you hit update which is very faint on my computer, but the message received is that it has been posted successfully.--Not true.

One other thing: My password is not my membership number.

Hi Joe:

Ab sounds like he has the identical problem to the one I emailed you about. I cannot update my tag nor my signature either. Thanks for your help.

Hate to say this but, Me Too! I used to have one and wanted to change it, so I deleted it and now I Got Nothin'. IE: I can't update it, so it's blank. I've tried many different things and it still does Not work. I don't want to have to type it every time. Oh, Well...

Steve
