You are a big boy and don't need to hear this from me, but you need to understand that this website is run by VOLUNTEERS. This means that things don't happen as quickly as you may like. I understand that your membership in the club is commercial in nature which is fine, you pay your dues and are entitled to your opinions, but understand that this site is what it is, the software needed to change and is run by, again, VOLUNTEERS who may or may not eventually stop listening to people making remarks like "what the hell". Your post was spot on and constructive/helpful until the last line.

They know what needs to be addressed, are working on it and don't need to be beaten over the head about it.

I have little doubt this will not register with you, but here's hoping.

Warmest Regards,

While the web team certainly have issues to work through, not all the problems you are experiencing are universal. There may be some configuartion points on your side to improve your view.
I am using IE9 right at the moment and did not have the problems you're experiencing. About the only annoyance is that the very top line of selections on the page top is cut off - I can see the bottom of the letters for Login, etc but that's all.
Sorry, I'm not enough of a computer expert to give you any advice, but many of the issues are discussed in the "Announcement" area thread that ends in 'report all issues here'
I also use the Chrome browaser on another computer and it seems to work better.
Good luck!

I've noticed sides getting cut off when displaying the classifieds while using it on an iOS device. It might be caused by two nested <div> elements where the inner one is wider than the outer one due to a negative value in the margin.

Code:
<div class="container">
   <div class="content row"> has margin-left and margin-right set to -15px.

Rich,

Are you running Apple?
Or some outdated windows?

I have no problems, runs like the old site version.

Heck, Oregon spent $178 million on their health exchange web site, and gave up. And those contractors were professionals making tall money.

Our volunteers are doing a great job! And I notice at least one of the bugs I reported has been fixed. Kudos!

Brian, Not to be a stickler for details but I understand Oregon spent over $305,000,000 for their non-working web site. Not to worry though, it's only government money.

Bob,

I found that figure in a USA Today story from April, didn't think it warranted more precision.

(Just yesterday, Nevada announced they were firing contractor Xerox, throwing in the towel, and directing residents to the federal exchange until 2015 or later. Much less money flushed, but I believe close to $80 million. Nice work if you can get it.)

Re: Topic at hand, I thought one of my bugs was fixed, but not yet. Still, as a former programmer myself, I'm being patient (i.e. virtuous?)

Yes, Prudentius (5th Cent.) said: "patience is a virtue." He also talked about chastity and lust, but we ought not go there.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but I have no problems with the new site.. Evidently your spell check isn't working either..

No problem for me. Works fine.

As much as I want to add to the comments about the state exchange sites I can't risk the blowback from xxxx so I must remain silent but don't stop on my account.

Cliff's point is worth illuminating - the 356 Forum is not the place for political observations of any type unless it pertains to the 356. There are many other sites on the internet where one can opine to his or her hearts delight.
Thanks
xxxx

Jim I don't get any cutoff and I do everything from an iPad, including the attached screen shot.
