Here is a convenient way to quickly read posts on 356Talk:
Go to the main 356Talk web page at
http://porsche356registry.org/356talk.html the one that lists all the Forums. On the right side is a link "View unread posts" that goes to this page
http://porsche356registry.org/356talk/s ... posts.htmlClick that link and you will get a list of all the posts you haven't read (assuming you are logged in to the website). Of course if you don't normally read the posts on the website (such as if you read posts in the daily email Digest), the list is going to be very long the first time you view it. But you just have to scan through it once, reading the ones that interest you, then return to the main page at
http://porsche356registry.org/356talk.html by clicking the "Board Index" link on the left, and then click "Mark forums read" on the far right.
Now the next day when you go to the main 356Talk page and click "View unread posts" the list will be much shorter.
If you follow that routine on a daily basis I think you will find it is pretty efficient, and you will be able to enjoy all the advantages of reading posts on the website: you can read each post in the context of the other posts in that topic, see the photos, etc.
You can bookmark the page at
http://porsche356registry.org/356talk/s ... posts.html but it will only show your "unread" posts if you are logged in to the website.
