I've seen nerf bars on 356's but can't seem to find who sells or makes them. Who makes nerf bars, (at least to replace the front bumper), for a C?
Thanks all.

You might be able to fit these Nerf bars for 4 x $35 :
www.vintagespeedsters.com/parts/bumper.php#thumb
(I'd actually ask them if they fit on an original 356 - 'cause I am not sure)
or weld them for about 4 x $3.5 by yourself as I did:
If you are interested in the latter version, feel free to contact me

The Goodie Store once had them. They were made by a guy in Morro Bay California. Pricey but gorgeous and flawless. See mine at

great question - i had quite a time finding nerfs for my outlaw tour/track project - per the last post, craig campbell at cam-fab west in kayukas (sp?) near Morrow Bay made mine -
www.camfabmotorsports.com/fab.html
craig is a very cool guy, with in-depth race experience - his bars are made from scrap marine stainless railings - the workmanship is fantastic - the ends are completely covered - the mounting holes worked great - but they are pricey at about $125 ea -
i am not familar with the aforementioned bars, but i have seen the vw style, empi, and repro bars, and i wasn't too happy with them, size, quality, and fit-wise, but their price is impossible to beat! hope this helps, brad in seattle
