External kill switch install

Are you sure the front stabilizer bar is on correctly? It looks very low. Might the links go up instead of down after flipping the bar?

I thought that looked strange as well. The sway bar came with the project but no instruction or indication as to the supplier. It will obviously be a long time before this car moves on it's own. If anyone has info on proper install instructions I would appreciate the feedback.

Found these images online. Shows both ways. Will see if the bar ends fit in the "up" position.

I'm thinking of this color. It's called Martini Mica Gray. In some light it looks like a light gunmetal gray but it has a little bit of Emerald Pearl in it in other types of light. Was thinking of that for the exterior and then a dark green leather interior.

Got the Coddington wheels/tires mounted this weekend. Will have to fine tune the stance once the engine/other weight is in the car.

I have been traveling for work, so have not had as much time to work on the project as I would like. Thought I would post a few updates. I notched the front tube adjuster (using the instructions posted on the Registry). I slammed it down to see what it would look like. I will raise it up an inch or so when it ready to drive, but it looks pretty awesome sitting this low.

As I am sure most of you have experienced, sometimes when you want to do something trick, it often creates the need to fabricate new parts. I really like the Wilwood pedal assembly. The problem was that since the pedals were spaced wider than the stock pedal assembly, they didn't fit well in the footwell. I ended up cutting out the footwell and making it wider/deeper. Now the pedals fit.

Since the pedals have separate master cylinders for the front and back, plus I have converted to a hydraulic clutch, I needed a place to mount the reservoirs. I have the large fuel cell, and with this bracket, the reservoirs will mount right in front of it.

Finally, I really like some of the cars (like Rod Emory's) that have a vintage roof rack. I could not find anyone making them for the Type A's, so I purchased one made for a Beetle. I have fabbed the front and back supports to fit my car. I have some finishing work to do and then will have it re-powder coated.

Perry, this is coming along great. I like a lot of what you've done to make it yours. Not sure about how close that clutch pedal is to the inner wheel well, especially if you plan on carpeting it. Those pedals do look trick though. Keep us updated as it progresses.
