Hi Mike,
I know you had to deal with a step or two backwards but everything is looking great. You are a trooper. I've been diverted from my 356 project lately with house and landscaping projects. It's Spring...and a little bit of time on my old Z28 V8 car. But I will get back on my 356 soon. Looking forward to seeing your car on the road again. Hang in there.
Rich

Julian what did you buy? Show some pictures always interested in what others are doing with their cars.

I finished the engine build and installed it in the car. I've been busy building air filters and throttle linkage for the throttle bodies, and plumbing crankcase vent lines to the breather box. On to oil supply & return lines to the tank.

Getting closer... Finished up the air cleaners & started fabbing exhaust. Parts are cut, tacked and ready for welding. Tail pipes will wait til I get the rear bumper on.

Hey Mike,
Looking terrific as usual. Do you plan to leave the exhaust tips black or metal color...or add chrome tips? I'm wrestling with this issue on my 912 hot rod. I originally went with flat hi-temp black but now I'm beginning to think it needs a little more bling.

Rich, I'm going to use 2 1/4 " Stainless Steel with scotchbrite brushed finish & cookie cutter inserts.

I finished up the wiring for the F.I. & remote oil cooler fan. Throttle linkage, oil lines & other parts are back from the platers. Now that the wiring is done along with the return fuel line in the tunnel ( don't have to climb in and out of the car) the shift tower is in and I finally got to install the seats I've been storing since January in a bedroom ( wife is extremly happy).

Mike,
Good seeing you on Sunday at the swap meet in Concord. Your car is looking beyond terrific. If it runs half as good as it looks it will be a screamer. Let me know when you will be bringing it to the Saturday RGruppe event at EASY. I want to be sure not to park too close to you.
Rich
PS. Just finished a roofing job on my house so not much car stuff lately. Drove my '65 356SC to a friends place to help him with a V8 hot rod project on Saturday and then worked on a fuel system improvement project on my 911 Widebody on Sunday. After a couple of months of house and landscaping projects it was good to get back to car stuff.

Great car! What wheels are those? Boyds? And what size if you don't mind. Are your rear quarters stock, or rolled a little? Thanks for any info!

Jake wheels are Coddinton Alloy Replicas. 15 x 7 front have the early Fuch R offset & the rears 15 x 7 have late Fuch offset. I bought the wheels then split the rear fenders to accomodate the wheel tire combo. In the first photo you can see the pie shape piece I welded in to widen the fenders. Mike
