Please post your BT5 outlaw picture

#1 Post by Helge Tielker »

Hey guys,
I am not as creative as many of you... unfortunately I always need inspiration first by sight :(.
Please post your BT5 outlaw picture, I know this car doesn't come a long often - but we have one 12/59 and have to decide original or outlaw ;)
Nowadays it is 100% original ... only missing the original headrests.....

cheers from Holland

PS: does anyone has a model for the computer of an BT5 to paint/ design it ... would appreciate that as well

This was my first BT5 found somewhere in Léglise (Belgium) in 2000.
Don't know if it can be considered as an outlaw but if it helps you...

If I had a T5 I’d turn it into an early bent window clone. Lower the fender cutouts, early nose, beehives, 6” wide painted drum brake wheels. And either no bumpers or body bumpers. The curved windshield would stay, it’s good enough.

If it is an early T5 with single mount transmission then the best use for it may be a an outlaw. The attached belongs to a friend and actually handles quite well with a sprightly Dwayne Spencer engine.
