I doubt the bearing load would be critical.
My cars at speed seem to be light in the front able to skip over potholes somewhat with ease.
The shockwave comes from the rear.
With Koni's which are so stiff, there isn't time for the shock to extend.
What about raised chunks of the road? Grin and bear it.
