Re: New to the Registry-Building two A's
Hi, Rusty,
Charlie - I am experiencing the same problem, but it doesn't seem to be the picture, which doesn't extend as far as the type. It could be a software problem, or, more likely, and indentation problem with your vast amount of run on text. My guess is overload for a single HTML post. This is something for Brian and Chuck to figure out. Only you or the Moderators can edit your post. You can go to the edit function and sweep your cursor across the text denoting the picture to delete it, but my suggestion would be to break your verbiage down and split it up between two or three posts. Maybe indenting and forming paragraphs might help too, but then I am not an expert at this programming stuff.

Rusty, this is a problem we are trying to fix. Even 356Talk admins can't get to the "edit" button in your post to fix it. Nor can we see the button to delete the post.
Sorry,
Barry

Yeah, I tend to babble in my posts, use commas instead of periods and have never heard of the word paragraph I sure hope my old English teacher isn't on the Forums! I just deleted the photo from Photobucket, hope that works. On this computer I can't slide the bar to the edge of the screen to get to the edit button on that post. Anybody who can figure it out is welcome to pull the image if the Photobucket trick is unsuccessful.

Thought You Would Appreciate this Outlaw
Dear Rusty, how are you? Thought you would appreciate this other Outlaw, if I am not mistaken, same wheels as you? Take care and keep in touch.
Sincerely,

Can't quite tell Shane, they look like they might have a Porsche bolt pattern?? There are a couple of similar wheels to the BRM in that pattern. Regardless, the pic is great and I LOVE the 356!!!!

Those look like the gas burner wheels with 5 lug porsche pattern not BRM's.

Rusty,
It has been a little over a year since the last post to your thread. How is your car doing? Any recent mods?

Spring has finally sprung in Southwest Colorado. I dusted off this old rig and brough it back to its birthplace, Kustom Coack Werks. Time for a good once over and a few new parts to make this a daily driver again!!!! Ditching the stock VW exhaust, new carb, some wiring, and raising it up in the front and rear-just a little
Love this pic, my buddy John took it last week. Unfortunately his Pre A is sold to a buddy of ours but is still at the shop for some good photos!!

Amazing Rusty not seen the result of this for some time as not been on here of late But you made it. I didn't doubt you as it's only metal.
I read last year a british mag about a race Race Jag E type that was crashed in the 60's and left for years and it's now restored and back on the road. You have done nothing different to what they did.. Only some how people love it when Pro's do the work but if a DIY person does the same work they start having a go at them and saying Tut tut this is wrong..
It's just perfect as it is!
I just had a scan though all the posts I remember you also had the roth of this man

Oh, one more quick note. That smart back stabbing blood sucking Lawyer could easily implicate those of you that are "egging" on this restoration. Or any other advice that brings injury or harm to an individual. Think about that.
Why do you think the giving of advice yields absolutely no liabilities?

I too got some grief from him about my metal work, so I am happy to be honest. He's done a great job don't you think, ok it's not a perfect car. But it's driving and solid enough for the future. I really quite like it as it is..
You only have to think of the number of cars out there where the owners don't know some one has done the same as Rusty, only didn't tell the new owner and covered it on Bondo and nice new paint..
