Actually the Cayenne is a 2013 model and is powered by the turbo diesel V6 and it has the 8 speed auto trans because it is my wife's wheels. We had a 2010 before this and before that a Mercedes which she hated. She absolutely loves the Cayenne, she can park it easy, delivers acceptable gas? mileage and goes as fast as she wants to go which aint all that slow! And with the air suspension it can ride like my Cobra or ride like a '57 Caddy. I like it soft. We have a current order for a new Macan but Mr. Porsche is screwing us around at the moment. Having placed the order last August with an expected delivery date of March or April next year, we are now advised that delivery won't be 2016 but more than likely 2017. What the f%@k. Do they want to sell cars or not? So we are a bit p*@$ed off with Mr Porsche at the moment. But hey ho this isn't about 356's and my tail lights are in fact '39 Ford not Mr. Porsche's. And regarding people who say what you should and shouldn't do to 356's, after welding on complete front sheetmetal, near side wing, all floors, K member, battery box, near side rear panel and severely jacking out the off side rear, after that lot I'll do what I bloody well like to the car.

I prefer mine fairly stock, but I certainly agree that you should make your car however you please, it is nobody's business but yours. Of course, I am no purist - I drilled holes for my front license plate!

The louvers look great, and I also like the nerf bars. Different twist on the nerf bars, usually they are verticals. Let's see more outlaw/hot rod alterations, I appreciate the thought and work involved.

Cliff,

You are being rude!
Even Adam can't save them all and WTH it's just hot rodding crossing over. Spell check doesn't know about roding/rodding.
You should have seen the stuff that went on in the 50's and nobody objected!

Love & kisses

Norm, I'm not against louvers or Harley Davidsons. I'm with Virginia and she is "for louvers".

For those on the other side of the pond...for many years the US State named Virginia used the tourist marketing slogan "Virginia is for Lovers". There is a joke there somewhere.
