Where to buy fabricated 356A Carrera GT/GS parts?

#1 Post by Jay Aldeguer »

Hi,

Aside from Bob Kann at GTwerk, who I think does excellent work, is there another vendor who sells Carrera GT parts, fabricated or original? I just want to see whatelse is out there before I embark on my project.

Thanks for your help.

If you want to buy off the shelf parts then Bob is your man. For real parts advertise WTB in classified, Ebay or contact Eleven Parts/Classic Parts Peter Hoffman. If you are a good fabricator or know one then make them. Where are you? and what specifically are you looking for? Have you keep up with Bill Sargents posts? Also Gary EmoryParts Obsolete) has good sources and can have them made

Hello Jacques,

I'm overseas in the Philippines and still torn wheteher to restore my '59 back to stock or to do a carrera/GT look. I am in touch with Bob and Rod Emory; just wanted to see what's out there before I decide. Will research a little more and look up the other usual suspects you had just mentioned.

Thanks.

Mike Smith at PR Services in the UK can supply some of the more unusual parts like the alloy steering box and fuel pump inspection covers.

Jay.....I have a pair of Harry Witham`s 60mm drums available, along with my repro alloy shoes, and hardware kit. I make Plexi windows with the proper Plexi logo heat-stamped.
