Yes , This is my 356 A t2 full original except lowering and 17" BRM wheels.

A million years ago my brother sent me a set of wheels off his 63 coupe. The are Drum Brake Fuchs looking casting made by AWE 5.5X15 (see photos). Not having a need for them, I just left them in the cardboard shipping boxes unopened. Now after many moves I can not find the lug nuts for them.

The face of the wheel looks like the lugs are flat or had a washer?? There is no taper or radius The Hole is 17.5mm and the washer face is 29mm. Did that have an insert to a sleeve under the flat?

Does anyone have a set of these wheels or a lug nut they could photo for me.

Figured out the AEW Fuchs, had to make the lug nuts from a larger size. Looks and works great.

Fred, I used 911/Fuchs-type black anodized lug nuts on the stock studs, torqued to 90 ft-lbs. A fellow 356er had done the same so I tried it and have put about 700 miles on the setup.

Installed and tested. They work fine, new lug nuts are a pain to install do to the clearance on the machined sleeve part of the nuts. I powder coated them to match the car, will do the black on the wheels to Slate Gray this winter. The center caps won't clear the front bearing caps so I will need to make an adapter to complete the installation.

I see on page 14 cj murray uses 205/55-16 tires which means he using a 16 inch wheel. There is sure more tires in this size to choose from and not all that expensive. They would also give it lower look with more tire surface. I would like to go that route. I would like to get the coddington wheels for my 63 wide five drum brakes. I looking at my 88 carrera which has 205/55 x 16's in the front. The tread width is much wider than my 185/70 x 15 on the 63. I just don't see the clearence for the back wheel wells on the 63 at least on the outside. The hundred dollor question is if the 205/55 x 16 would work then what would the off set be for the rear wheels to make the fit and with out rubbing. With my 185/70 x 15 on the front of the 63 I get a little rub on the inside when lock to lock so maybe there would need to be a offset on the front as well. I tried emailing cj murray but have not gotten a response as of yet. May be I should call Chris at coddingtons. Hope fully some here can answer this question.
