Non-stock wheels on your 356? Post a pic!
First post in this great new forum format. I know there are folks out there with "out of the ordinary" wheels on their tub. Lets see 'em. BRM's, Campagnolo, Torque Thrusts, Five Spokes, etc...
As a side-note, some may not be familiar with Busselecta in here. No affiliation, just a cool site to get a visual on how your ride would look with different colors, accessories, ride heights and the like.

Mike,
These wheels were on my 356 when I bought it in 1997/1998. Don't really much care for them. I think they are American Eagle but am not positive. I call them wide 5 fake fuchs. I recall them were fairly light in weight as well. I see them every now and again, mostly on VW's as opposed to 356's
I also ran 15" beetle smoothies for a while to give it an earlier look. Even installed porta walls. That lasted a year or so.
I'm back to running KPZ & Lemmerz rims now.
I have a couple friends who were running aftermarket wheels. One ran BRM's on his 1953 coupe, the other I believe ran sprint stars on his 1956 coupe. I'll have to look through my files for pics of those.

Good Eye Mike, I didn't look close enough and thought Dan was running the original style Rudge wheel. Here's a post by Dan from another thread about his wheels.Mike Klapac wrote:Are those stockers with knockoffs on the drums?
Dan Macdonald wrote:Here's a few pix of my fake (knock-off) of Rudge knock offs. My old retiring mechanic gave them to me about ten years ago. They appear to be from the '60's or '70's. I have a Road & Track advertisement from 1963 by Vilem B Haan, Inc showing them available for $29.95 for a set of four. Note that there is a "right" and "left" side!
