Andy Daughtery is putting her back together and doing a great job.
It does look like Andy is doing a superb job. Superb enough, and as Ken's son, he deserves the correct spelling of his last name: Daugherty. A subtle difference and my apologies for the OCD. Nothing personal Harry!
I once watched Ken balance a nickel, on edge on the top of the fan shroud of his idling 356, it was so well balanced. What a guy!

Thanks for the correct spelling. Andy just verified you are correct. How embarrassing that I have had it wrong all this time.
Andy is a true artist and I regret never having met his father. Andy has shared many stories of his working with his Dad.
This car he is doing for me is as close to perfect as anything I have ever seen. Thanks again for the heads up.

Mark, Andy says the engine he is building will pass the nickel test. I'm looking forward to it.
Nice work so far Harry, don't ease up. Really wish I'd gotten my tub media blasted, would have shown up the evil 1/4" thick filler in the rear to hide the 1" deep thump in the rear fender only discovered after painting, aargh!
And if you're going the outlaw route why go mild when you can go Wild.

Graham, she was media blasted and then all the rust was repaired. She is being restored to ”better than new”, but I intend to drive her on a regular basis.

Hi Harry, I'm sure I am not alone when I say I like the pictures of the progress. Its looking great. Bet you can't wait for the maiden voyage. What kind of radio is that? Surely modern, but doesn't ruin the look of the dash.
