I weight each piece individually and remove material from part until it weighs the same as the rest. I.e. 4 pistons, 4 wrist pins, 4 rods, 8 piston clips and 4 rod bearings. When they all weigh the same i combine each assembly and weigh for total weigh. Pics show total weight of each assembly.
Rods are not so easy to balance or actually the problem is to weight correctly the ends.
Juha, Andy says you are correct. His 1 gram variation overall is impressive given the 15 gram factory spec. She should run sweet.

Harry- great to hear the news, Bob is a super guy, been vintage racing with him since the early '90's. Looking forward to update pics and love your thread.

+1 on Bob Kann's GT bumper trim. I believe you will find that the A model versions were trimmed to reduce the thickness at the ends and wrapped around the bumper. Later years were finished at the ends. Might have to anneal to ease the bending process.

Steve these are the instructions Bob sent. They were prepared by one of his customers. The pre As were 8' and the later dates were 7'. Its amazing how many details there are in one of these cars. I know Andy has it covered.

I have signed up for PCAs show the Friday before Amelia Concours (off-site) and the Saturday 'club' show at the Concours. I'm a newbie so I'm a little excited.

She’s on her own four feet for the first time in a long time. It’s enough to make a grown man cry tears of joy!

Harry and Andy, what an amazing rebuild! I just read through the whole thread. Very impressive! I don't know if I have that kind of patience, you and Andy must have bucket loads.

I’m so excited to drive this car. I’m like a kid with a new toy. Andy says we are about two weeks away. I hope to have her at the Amelia Concours at the PCA event on Friday . . .

Where is Rogues Island?

I’d suggest putting the rears on the front and going to a 195 on the rear
