engine question.

#1 Post by sihabutr xoomsai »

Hi,
just got a 356 B T5 1600 super. My plan is to go mild outlaw.
I want to build a big bore engine. how ever the car come with Type 1 VW 1600 engine (in the car now) and 356 A 1600 normal engine (not running).
-i am wondering if 3rd piece from engine no. 85xxx-88xxx will fit on 356A 1600 normal engine (no. 71326)?
-i am thinking if i should get corect 1600 super engine and build that or just build the A 1600 normal engine. what is the difference between the two? i know compression is difference from normal and super engine.
just feel weird putting in an older engine than the car if you know what i mean. :D
thanks
Tenn
