Who here has boxed their trailing arms?
I've heard it said many times that boxing your trailing arms is an important upgrade for Outlawed and raced 356s. Could someone recommend a shop that will do it? I believe Polo boxes arms, but it's a little tricky to get them to respond.

The boxing adds stiffness and strength to the trailing arms - they're fine as is for everyday driving but for racing or other hard use the added robustness is desirable

Once you have reinforced front trailing arms, you'll want reinforced spindles. Because, you know, you're just moving the weakest link somewhere else. Vic at 356 Enterprises sells very nice spindles. But they may have too much camber for street use. Tell Vic what your goal is.

Re: Who here has boxed their trailing arms?
I should add that boxed trailing arms are really only needed for the extremes of road racing. I've hard autocrossed for 10 years on stock arms, inspect at the end of each season and haven't seen anything to cause me worry on what may be 50 year old parts. That said, upgraded parts are excellent for redirecting your worry elsewhere.
