Has anybody seen wire wheels on a "C"?
I seem to recall a photo in a 356 book showing a car in Switzerland. Any info would be appreciated.
Have fun

I have seen a few 356s with wire wheels. They belong on MGs.

I was offered some wire wheels recently, I declined.

Speaking of wheels -- does anybody here know anything about VTO wheels? Nice looking wheel (IMHO), much like old Mini-Lights or Panasports, and available in 15X6 with a 5X130 pattern for our disc brake cars:

I have Porsche 65 "C" Cpe with stock centers with 6" GM disk brake outers reversed (from 72 Olds) with maximum offset. Tires 185x65x15 Michelin HydroEdge- I like the look and the handling, I kept a set of stock 51/2 x15s incase the purists won't let me in at their events. (Pics are on Members gallery).

White model car paint is what I used in early 60's to highlite tires. Don't believe tire manufacturers were doing it at that time.

I am not usually a fan of black wheels but maybe I am coming around. Your car looks very nice!
