Another Outlaw build at KCW

#1 Post by Rusty Willey »

Can anybody post a link to the build thread for the new Outlaw coupe being built at KCW? It's called Eric's 1958 356A. John has been tackling some nasty rust the last couple weeks, the build is going full steam and so far is really fun to watch!! Tech help please? :)

You're welcome Rusty. Going to be a nice one. Black paint with red interior, per the COA.

Thanks! I had a chance to spend this last weekend at the shop and check out this rig. I hadn't been there in about 6 months, a loooooong time for me. After removing the buff paint and Bondo the Coupe turned out to need some serious metal repair, serious!!! John started up the big repairs and now he has both of his metal guys knocking out small patches of rust repair all day. The COA says it was originally black and the owner is wisely going back to it. I have no idea what the plans for it's mechanics wise will be. Gotta wait I guess, C'MON BODYWORK!!!!! :D :D :D

Have been following this KCW thread...they are now blocking and re-priming...it is amazing work. Inspiration for my BT5 resto. Don't know how JJ knocks it out so fast, to such a high quality. Truly awesome!

I haven't watched the T2 58 rebuild and wondering are they going to upgrade the Brakes from Drum to Disk?.
I will try to watch it due to my own 58 A coupe . 8)
