Hi , I got a call from the Wheel specialist that painted my four lightweight space saver wheels from the newer model cars that are used on 356's . And the valve stems that I got for him won't fit . They are too thin or the wheels are I'm not sure . When I got them I think the Diameter was right as we checked them. (they have had them for 2 months) Does anybody have a source for the right stems ? I checked with the local Porsche dealer before I went to the local Speed shop and found the ones I gave to them. So they are waiting on me now. Any help would be Great.
Thanks in advance , Bruce

Never mind I went down and solved the problem as it was with the Tech and not the parts supplied.
Thanks, Bruce

Might be interesting to post the valve stem part no. that you were able to use on the space saver wheels.

Valve stems for those wheels can be purchased at most any motorcylcle shop. Just take one of the stems from the space saver wheels for comparison.MICHAEL FOSTER wrote:Might be interesting to post the valve stem part no. that you were able to use on the space saver wheels.

Unfortunately the empty box from the valve stems was discarded by the Wheel shop and I bought the at least 2 mos. ago But to find the right size I brought one of the originals to the local Speed shop that also caters to the Metric Tuner crowd ,and they picked them right off the shelf.
