914 sport seats in a 356

For those who couldn't care less how their 356 left the factory!

914 sport seats in a 356

any one using 914 sport seats in a 356.. do they fit?? if so are they more comfortable than the speedster seats?? would love to see a picture of a set in a car.

Ned, there was story in the mag about 5-6 years ago about a guy who did this and was very happy with the result. They were tan and plaid if I recall.

Here is a pic of my 914-6 sports seat. It will fit in a 356 because it is the same width of regular 914 seat. The high bolster is not for wide butts, I had to replace the passenger seat with a regular 914 seat so my big butt friends can ride with me. The other pic is a 914 seat made to look like a speedster seat in my T5 356.

There is a good write up about this in vol 30, number 6 of the 356 reg magazine. You can download the PDF from the site. March/April 2007 edition, write up was by Jeff Brown and should be useful
