different monitors show different colors but all show a variation of green. My picture I printed looked like high gloss olive drab . I would never have thought of Stone Grey as the color chips, like you sent ,do not show green. I am glad you have seen it in real life. How did you like the color? Was it a Porsche color?

Bill,
The color is beautiful as stated by nearly all that see it. It's definitely a Porsche color choice. Below is a link to a Speedster painted in Stone Grey. Regards, Bob

You can go to TCP Global's website tcpglobal.com, restoration shop, auto color library and you can see the original color charts for any and all years and even order paint from them made up to the color formula. I have had great luck with them, but I spray my own in my garage (low budget show).

Having owned a stone gray car for 47 years it's interesting to note that neither film or digi would consistently capture the color the same or correct.
For that matter neither can our eyes.
Most repaints I've seen are too light or greenish, not as muddy as original.
5710 stone gray was optional from 57-59.

I went to the local hobby shop and bought a can of Testors SAC Bomber green paint---WOW! it was really green. It looked like Olive Drab. Could that really be the close to the Stone Grey?
