Kenneth, you did no wrong; no need to apologize.
Antoine, I hope that you see it is not a matter of putting a pretty badge on your car; it is about earning that badge.

I remember a couple years ago, Parts Obsolete (or Emory Motorsports...same thing I guess) had a shift knob with the same eagle on it available. Don't know if they still sell them. Rod, any of the knobs still available?

Hey Emil, Yes... We still have them for B/C Cars. I sell them for $25 plus $5 Shipping in the US. They are Billet Black coated and the Eagle is laser etched. I also have a 4 Speed Knob.

Rod,
Didn't you do a handful of torsion bar cover badges as well? I "think" I had those on the 56 Lago Green coupe you guys did for me prior to the San Diego Holiday.

Eric

Small world! I used to own the Lago Green coupe after Eric. I bought it from my friend Frank Saucedo. It's now owned by Jerry Murray in SoCal and still has the outlaw torsion bar cover. Also, my brother-in-law, Jim Kanan, who is a jeweler and sculptor casted the original outlaw badges to Gary's design. To this day he still casts the badges for Gary. He also casts the "GT" badges for the RGRUPPE. Small world!

Could you ask your brother in law how many outlaw badges were made?

According to Jim, he's made no more than 36. He collaborated in creating them for Gary in the early 90's.

As Vic states, its about earning the badge. A real shame someone is making knock-offs

i know I'd like one of those badges but i don't see its something I'd buy as a knock off, and as for a $3k price tag for a genuine, i know i'll pass!

i think its something that should stay with the car. after all its the car it was essentially won the badge!
