Mississippi Outlaw **hand painted Pegasus**
My B is almost ready for the pot holes of Forrest County Mississippi.
Two years ago at the age of 38 I decided that for my 40th birthday I would drive a 356. So I traded my 51 split beetle for a disassembled and stripped down 1960 coupe knowing that I had 2 years to get it done. Well, my birthday is May 26th and at this posting I have 10 days. Having a career and 3 little boys under the age of 10 I "create" time to work on her..... usually late at night. My deadline is near but right now she is 100% on all mechanicals and is only lacking some bolt ons and interior. I will post some finished pictures next week but just wanted to share 2 years worth progress pics with everybody.

Sweet! I love the stance. Good luck finishing it up. It's awesome that you've earned that first drive with sweat and hard work late at night. I do the same after my kids go to bed.

Hi Mike, Beautiful Hotrod 356! It sits really nice on your wheel and tire combo. You've done a fantastic job! All this in 2 years huh? I've added you to the list of guys making me look like a slacker! Thanks for sharing those great pictures. The photo of your little boy and that cute little dog is priceless; everyone seems to be having a great time there! I'm sure he'll catch the "porsche Bug" just as I did hanging out with my dad and that old coupe I'm working on now. Keep 'em coming! Look forward to more updates.
Regards, Justin

Hi,
Great car. Can i ask a question about your windscreen rubbers - have you replaced the chome strip with a black version or just omitted it? I want all black rubbers on my outlaw, but not sure if i can leave the chrome strip off?

Jim, I really wish I could tell you that I found some rubber without the slit for the chrome.... I Looked and Im really sure it is not made. I just installed the rubber without the chrome. It does not look bad in person.

Re: Mississippi Outlaw
Get a photo of it pushing a beer can down the road. I've heard guys bragging about how low their cars are. You can prove it!
Nice job for sure!!!

Re: Mississippi Outlaw
Thanks Tom, no bragging on my part... as a matter of fact I was hesitant to post pictures knowing this communities view of lowering a 356. She is still a work in progress and I have lifted the front about an inch to take some of the rake off. She rides on dropped spindles in the front and a chopped hoop in the rear. She is just a 60 B...and I know the general opinion about those... so no big lose having fun with her.
