Your not the odd man out, there are many who have used the Webers with good results , I being one. I think the success we've achieved is because we have done the work ourselves.

Early on it was a lot of trial & error that eventually resulted in good performance from these carbs. Those who found the best combination of jetting etc. would share that information and the task became easier for those who followed. If you don't mind fiddling a little & are a fairly good mechanic they can be excellent units. Their bad reputation has been in part due to not being set up for our cars right out of the box & when installed as such were less than perfect. Today we have the information available to set them up beforehand & with minor adjustments can tailor them to an individual engine build.
