RHD A coupe

#1 Post by Dirk Heinrich »

Saw this 6/14/2009 at the VW Classic in Irvine, CA:

... and liked it - although it made my car look as if it was raised

ooooooooh my god !! I don't mind natural patina but this craze looks really sad.....have seen some really cool naturally rusty / un restored cars. it's not a look i dislike, if unintentional.

Don't we all love barn finds? Here is a process to get that coveted look without having to submit your coupe to 30 years in a chicken coop. I personally love it - instant barn find.

I know, that was right after I took the pic in 2009. How did it come up again?

BTW Adam, it is not Greg's car. I know the guy, I met him once last year. He is a young guy who keeps somewhat of a low profile. I can ask him for the number next time I see him.

As Dirk said, not mine.
My rusty one is a '54 LHD and was never at the Classic.

Dirk...... I'm anxiously awaiting my package.
Thanks again!!
