Electric Sunroof

#1 Post by Brian Westmoreland »

I read in another Porsche only magazine about a guys 64 SC, famous car, owned by Butzi (?sp) I believe. The article stated that 1964 was the first year you could get a 356 with an electric sunroof, don't think I misread it. I own an T-6 with one. built late summer 1962. Just trying to get my dates right. My COA says my car was factory delivered with it. It works perfectly-hoping it stays that way! Thanks all.

I had a 64 SC coupe with a electric sunroof. Ivory with black interior.
Drove it in front of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic torch run about 1/8 mile in front of the runner.
Always wanted to find a picture of it, went through several cities. Lomita, Torrance, Hermosa, Manhattan Beach and more for about 6 hours.
The cops and spectators thought we were part of the run. Had the wiper arms out with small USA flags going back and forth. Fun time.
