More info here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=44288 It sounds like Mike Smith at PR Services in the UK may know the details of the electric pump option.

And here is a picture from my 65 showing the tubing coming into the front compartment between the passenger's side hood hinge and the vertical for the fresh air drain box. Your 63 will be in the same place.

Thank you for your response but where can you buy the right bottle for BT6 because Stoddard, SMC and so on only sell bottle with tube in the cap ?

Regards, Romain

They come for sale occasionally on various sites used. Ebay, Thesamba.com, aase sales.com swap meets etc. Right now I think even the caps are out of stock. I say buy whatever you can find that is complete and intact. Most don't know about the 62 /early 63 difference anyway. The later 63 had hole in cap but I don't know when the change occurred. Pretty early in 63 build I would think. Unless you have a 62 and bottom sender gas tank it really doesn't matter. The last caps I saw for sale new as a separate part didn't' have the hole with vents next to the hole like originals anyway so just be happy to have a washer bottle that works while you look for 62 type if you MUST have it. The Sierra Madre "kit" looks complete and would be correct for 63T6B through C/SC and could be modified if you ever find a solid cap to 62 T6B style easily. Parts Obsolete bought out EASY's stock when Jim retired so I would add them to the list to contact if you want the 62 version. And Gary Emory is very nice to deal with. A WTB(Want to Buy) ad in Registry might find you one also. In Europe I would try Mike Smith at PR Services and Marco Marinello at Elevenparts in Zurich. 1963 was a transitional year with minor changes. My 1963 with a build date of August 1, 1962 has the drain through the tank reservoir.

It sounds like some cars have a main wiper switch with an added washer function while others have an extra switch near ignition switch. It this true?

As suggested, check The Samba and eBay. Currently there is one original cap on The Samba and a couple on eBay along with several new ones reproduced by Dansk.
