As they always said the devil is in the details.
I am bringing my Car ( 356C) slowly back to its original condition.
I was just wondering in the community how important is
1. The windshield with the correct Sigla Markings.
2. Correct Tires for the period.........( I currently have Kumhos)

Thanks for your input..

I think it depends upon how you intend to use your car, Lockie. If you are going to enjoy driving it, I don't think it matters. If you are looking to show it in a concours or trying to sell it for the highest price, it might make a difference to the judges/perspective buyers.

Mike is correct. I restored mine for personal use as I am not into showing my car. My windshield was bought from Pilkington for about 1/2 what I would have paid otherwise. And local car shows won't know enough details to take off for wrong Sigla marking or tires. Pilkington owns Sigla England I think. If however you want to win a national Porsche or 356 show then disregard my comments.
