Re: Conti Tires
Check Lucas classic tires in the USA. May be less expensive.

Lucas Classic Tire in Long Beach, CA
Porsche dealers. Before you say they are too expensive, Sunset Porsche in Oregon sells parts at dealer cost plus 20%. I don't know if that applies to tires also.
Tire Rack is the official Porsche tire supplier, I think. They should have them.

Re: Conti Tires
I just wanted to provide an update. I tried to buy these in Canada and the dealers couldn't get them.
I finally decided to buy online with Longstone Tires and they arrived from England in under a week and there was no shipping charges.
When I did all the conversion math and added up all the charges I saved about $250 Cad. for 4 tires.
Great service from Longstone. Highly recommended.
Thanks everyone for the assistance

FWIW I have a set of 5 CA67's that I ordered from Longstone but I've changed my mind. Never installed. Located in Toronto, Ontario.

Hi
https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classi ... tml#page=4
I believe the CN36 was 1968
The CA67 tread pattern was developed in 1952. So it is the only radial tyre that is cuurrently made that is period.
Well i guess the XAS came out in 1965.
They are the only 2 good sporty tyres in the size 165R15 really

You can buy the Pirelli 165 x 15 right here in the USA. See http://www.nlaparts.com/store/pirelli-c ... 21951.html

Re: Conti Tires
Just out of interest, on this web page https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classi ... e/911.html towards the bottom there is an article from a German magazine comparing a load of tyres on 911.
It is worth noting that the Vredestein does not look like a classic tyre. It has the word 'Classic' written on the side of it, which is exactly the polar opposite of looking like a classsic tyre.
